California Privacy Notice (CCPA / CPRA)

Last updated: April 8, 2026

1. Scope

This California Privacy Notice applies to California residents and supplements our Privacy Policy. It describes your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and how we collect, use, and disclose personal information. Terms like “personal information,” “sell,” “share,” and “sensitive personal information” have the meanings given in the CCPA/CPRA.

2. Categories of personal information collected

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2 of our Privacy Policy, which may include:

  • Identifiers — such as name, email address, and online identifiers.
  • Commercial information — such as purchase and license records.
  • Internet or other electronic network activity — such as IP address, browsing or usage information, and interactions with our sites (including data collected via cookies and similar technologies, as described in our Privacy Policy).
  • Geolocation data — general location derived from IP address.
  • Professional or employment-related information — where you provide it in connection with the Service.
  • Content you provide — such as images, captions, gallery settings, and support messages.

Section 5 of the Privacy Policy lists categories of third parties (for example payment processors, analytics providers, and hosting). We collect personal information directly from you, automatically when you use our sites and apps, and from service providers as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Business and commercial purposes

We use personal information for the business purposes described in our Privacy Policy, including providing and improving the Service, processing payments, security, fraud prevention, analytics, support, and legal compliance.

4. Disclosure of personal information

We may disclose personal information to service providers and contractors who assist us (for categories and purposes, see our Privacy Policy). We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We may allow certain third-party analytics or advertising partners to collect information on our sites for measurement, attribution, or advertising-related purposes as described in our Privacy Policy; depending on your settings and applicable law, some of those activities may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can control certain cookies and tracking technologies through your browser or platform settings and any opt-out tools offered by those partners.

5. Sensitive personal information

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a “limit the use of my sensitive personal information” link under CPRA beyond what is permitted by law for providing the Service you request.

6. Your California rights

Subject to applicable exceptions, California residents may have the right to:

  • Know / access — request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected.
  • Delete — request deletion of personal information we collected, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell personal information for money; you may have the right to opt out of certain sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising where applicable.
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information — where applicable.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

7. Financial incentives

We do not offer financial incentives or price or service differences in exchange for the retention or sale of personal information.

8. Shine the Light

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (“Shine the Light”) allows California residents to request certain information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes as defined by that law. If our practices change, we will update this notice.
